Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and accuracy, utilizing cutting-edge technology and equipment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols, including maintaining AHPRA registration and VIC Radiation License, to guarantee the highest level of patient safety and care.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and referring clinicians, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on quality improvement and ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and technologies.

Key Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or an equivalent qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in medical imaging principles and practices.
  • Current registration with AHPRA, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and professional requirements.
  • Valid VIC Radiation License, guaranteeing the ability to work with radiation equipment and technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in radiography, particularly in General X-ray and CT Imaging, showcasing expertise and proficiency in diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication with patients, colleagues, and referring clinicians.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement and professional development, staying current with industry advancements and best practices.
