Your key responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring the customer is at the forefront of decision-making through data-led insights
* Collaborating with senior leaders to address customer challenges and stay ahead in the evolving Liquor retail landscape
* Providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders on optimising customer experience and driving innovation within the Liquor category
* Using data to explain business performance, identify challenges and opportunities, and provide recommendations to drive growth
* Contributing to Monthly and Quarterly Reporting
* Working with teams outside of Merchandising to deliver insights that inform business processes and deliver consistency of insight across the business
* Understanding the impact of macro trends on customer behaviour and predicting customer trends in drinks
* Fostering a culture of continual improvement within a high-performance team

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

* Strong analytical and numerical skills, gained through a minimum of 5 years' experience in a previous analytical role
* A degree in business or a related discipline
* Extensive experience using sales and customer data sets
* The ability to tell stories with data and engage others through data visualisation
* Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
* Confident communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail
* Previous Drinks industry experience, desirable
* Understanding of category management and buying principles, desirable
