Opportunity Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to embark on a 12-month Hospitality Traineeship in Melbourne.

This program offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification in Hospitality, including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.

You will be supported by Client Services and Indigenous Careers teams, with the potential for ongoing opportunities within the bank.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Reception and Concierge
    • Welcome and register guests
    • Manage visitor access
    • Support VIP arrivals with professionalism and care
  • Meeting Room Coordination
    • Prepare meeting spaces
    • Set up rooms and arrange catering
    • Ensure rooms are clean, refreshed, and ready for use
  • Hospitality Support
    • Assist with internal events and business meetings, including refreshing rooms between bookings, serving and clearing catering, taking coffee orders, learning barista skills, supporting formal dining and cocktail service, and assisting with beverage service and bar setup
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn
  • Proficiency in computers and Microsoft tools like Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Pas sion for delivering great customer service
