We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Trainee Educators. As a Trainee Educator, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports your professional development and empowers you to forge your career.

  • Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and colleagues is essential in this role.
  • You will comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart's policies and procedures.
  • Building strong relationships with children and their families is critical to your success in this position.
  • Active contribution to the education program and centre team is expected.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and professional practice is a key aspect of this role.

To be eligible for this traineeship, you must not have completed a Certificate or Diploma qualification outside of secondary school within the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare may still be eligible.

In addition to these requirements, you must:

  • Be willing to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • Hold a permanent right to work in Australia.
  • Have good time management and organisational skills.
  • Be able to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Have enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Be interested in early years education.
  • Hold a valid working with children check.
  • Provide proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis).
