Job Title: Production Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain accurate production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Closely monitor work orders and production status to identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to ensure availability of materials and components.
  • Analyze capacity and resource utilization to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Adjust production plans in response to changes in demand, equipment failures, or material shortages.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and schedule performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials flow, and shop floor operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Solid organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
