Employment Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and solution-focused Employment Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment by securing job opportunities and providing tailored support services.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and participants, to deliver quality employment solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers, ensuring that they have the skills required to become job-ready.
  • You will develop personalized job plans, enhance employability through training and support service referrals, and build positive relationships with local employers and community groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective job placement strategies to meet the needs of participants.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments to identify participants' skills and strengths, and develop personalized job plans to achieve their employment goals.
  3. Budget management is not a requirement for this role.
  4. Establish and maintain positive relationships with employers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure successful job placements.

Requirements:

  • Able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A current driver's license and comprehensively insured vehicle (Note: Requirements may vary based on location).
  • A MyGovID (Standard level).
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check.
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
  • Availability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
