About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Jay Jays in Darwin, Casuarina. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, developing and coaching your team, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to maximize sales opportunities and achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance customer experience
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and achieve sales targets
  • Manage stock levels and minimize stock loss to maximize sales
  • Act as Store Manager when required, including opening and closing the store

Requirements
  • Previous leadership experience, ideally in a retail environment
  • Confidence in providing praise and improvement feedback to team members
  • Ability to provide an exceptional and unique customer experience
  • Knowledge in loss prevention and health & safety
  • Visual Merchandising experience advantageous
