
Legislative Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our in-house legal team.
As a key member of our team, you will deliver high-quality legal support across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
About the RoleReviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts within agreed timeframes is essential for this role.
Analysing contract requirements and provisions to manage risk and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies is crucial.
Contributing to contract improvement, training, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies will be your responsibility.
Aligning contracts with business goals and objectives is vital for success in this position.
Coordinating contract negotiations, amendments, and addendums while ensuring key deadlines are met is a key aspect of the job.
Identifying and implementing improvements to policies, procedures, and tools for contract management and reporting will be an ongoing task.
A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is a must for this role.
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, with strong commercial and contract law expertise in a project-oriented environment, is required.
A sound understanding of corporate legal, governance, and contract management frameworks is necessary.
The ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with exceptional organisational and analytical skills is essential.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure without compromising quality is vital.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders are necessary.
