Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Carer to provide high-quality care services to clients in their homes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the independence and well-being of individuals in the community.

  • You will spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes, and supporting them with daily activities.
  • In-home personal care and daily living assistance, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • You will provide care in accordance with individualized Care Plans, ensuring that each client receives tailored support.
  • Supporting clients with community-based recreational and social activities, promoting their engagement and enjoyment.
  • Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments, helping clients maintain their autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care services to clients in their homes, prioritizing their needs and preferences.
  • Support clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting their dignity and independence.
  • Prepare meals and assist with household chores, helping clients maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Accompany clients on outings and provide transportation, enhancing their quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery, sharing knowledge and expertise.

Requirements
  • Certificate III Aged Care or Individual Support qualification, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum), ensuring you have the necessary driving skills and insurance.
  • Roadworthy and insured vehicle for work purposes, guaranteeing a safe and reliable mode of transport.
  • Experience working with technology, including smartphones and laptops, allowing you to effectively communicate and record client information.
  • Ability to pass relevant probity checks, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
