Delivering personalized support and care to individuals in their own homes is a rewarding career path that offers flexibility and variety.

The Role:

This role involves travelling between customers' residences, providing assistance with daily living activities and supporting them in their independence.

  • Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management
  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: accompanying customers on outings, shopping/groceries, and traveling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids and equipment, including mobility devices and assistive technologies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring customers' well-being and reporting progress
  • Participating in team meetings and attending training sessions as required
  • Availability to work occasional overnight shifts if needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
  • Assistance with Medications Certification (HLTHPS006)
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Valid Criminal Record Check
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, insured vehicle
  • Smartphone with internet access
