Job Title

A coordinated role that involves developing partnerships and strengthening brand presence through collaborative efforts.

  • This position will report directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager and will be responsible for cultivating and implementing community sponsorship and partnership engagement strategies.
  • The coordinator will also oversee local sponsorship activities, ensuring they align with social impact statements.

Key Responsibilities

These include:

  1. Managing effective and meaningful community sponsorships and partnerships that benefit both parties involved.
  2. Coordinating and administering all sponsorship business and associated activities.
  3. Collaborating with the leadership team to develop and drive community engagement strategies.
  4. Identifying and coordinating partnerships and celebrations established with key organizations relevant to Centurion's operations, fostering employee and community engagement.
  5. Assessing the merits of entering into sponsorship agreements and coordinating associated activities and reporting.
  6. Collaborating with regional teams to identify and manage local sponsorship opportunities.
  7. Developing and managing accurate partnerships collateral to support tender, website, and community support activities.
  8. Managing and reporting on sponsorship and partnership activities and budgets for corporate reporting purposes.

Requirements

For this role, we are seeking individuals who possess:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including impeccable copywriting, proofreading, and presentation skills.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar position or in business development, community engagement, or corporate sponsorship roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated competency in developing commercially viable terms and conditions with partners.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and encourage team cooperation while building a strong culture amongst others internally and externally.
