Electrical Infrastructure Manager Opportunity at a Gold Mine in Queensland

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical systems at our gold mine in Queensland, Australia. As a key member of our operational team, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve their goals. You will also have a strong background in electrical work, including experience with HV switching, forklift operation, and working at heights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of electrical reticulation infrastructure
  • Installation and repair of HV and LV power systems, mine communications, remote control loaders, production drills, development drills, and firing lines
  • Supervision of electrical personnel and coordination of maintenance activities
Requirements:
  • HV Switching Certificate
  • Forklift certification
  • Working at Heights Certificate
  • Minimum 2 years' experience post-apprenticeship as an underground electrician in a hard rock mine
  • Queensland Trade Certificate in Electrical

Our gold mine is an established high-grade, low-cost operation located near the towns of Cracow and Theodore in central Queensland. We hold a significant tenement package over the Cracow goldfields covering 935km2.
