Environmental Strategy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled leader to oversee our organisation's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) agenda. This critical role will ensure the effective development, implementation, measurement and reporting of our Environment and Sustainability Strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan and Social Impact Framework.

This position plays a pivotal role in delivering measurable outcomes that reflect our organisational vision, obligations and commitment to positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and execution of ESG strategies and plans that deliver real environmental sustainability, social impact and reconciliation outcomes.
  • Evaluate and establish clear metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with government, sector leaders and other key stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Oversee ESG-related initiatives, projects and reporting to ensure transparency, accountability and ongoing alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Deliver accurate, timely and outcome-focused reports and communications to internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Subiaco.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Solid knowledge of ESG frameworks, with proven experience delivering, measuring and reporting ESG outcomes.
  • Experience in developing environment and sustainability strategies and engaging staff in its development.
  • Strong understanding of reconciliation and Aboriginal engagement, with the ability to align and deliver against organisational objectives.
  • The ability to embed ESG deliverables within organisational strategy and operational plans.
  • A forward-thinking and creative mindset, grounded in practical outcomes.
  • Good understanding of compliance and regulatory obligations, with the ability to interpret requirements and align them to organisational performance.
