Job Title:

Groundwater Monitoring Specialist

About the Role:

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects and develop skills in groundwater monitoring and sampling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct integrated monitoring programs including groundwater, surface water, soils and air quality sampling while adhering to industry best practice.
  • Perform field studies involving hydrogeological site investigations, drilling programs, monitoring bore installations and hydraulic testing.
  • Prepare factual reports based on field and laboratory data collected for clients.
  • Liaise with site personnel, suppliers and laboratory personnel to ensure smooth delivery of field work.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a short course in hydrogeology or university qualifications in science or engineering specializing in hydrogeology or a related field.
  • Practical experience in hydrogeology with demonstrated skills in groundwater monitoring and sampling data analysis, bore drilling and construction, data analysis and report writing would be advantageous.
  • Australian citizenship/working rights are essential.
