Job Opportunity

As an Indigenous Engagement Officer, you will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships between our First Nations staff and operational teams to drive sustainable employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentoring existing First Nations employees: Provide guidance and support to Indigenous staff members on career development, training opportunities, personal growth, and workplace integration.
  • Onboarding new First Nations employees: Introduce and provide post-placement assistance, including system and process orientation as necessary.
  • Data and Analytics Support: Utilize analytical skills to capture data, stories, career plans, and mentoring frameworks.
  • Program Facilitation: Continue the success of the Making Tracks Program, which has brought over 150 First Nations people into the security industry.
  • Community Liaison: Represent the organization in the community, promoting awareness of our Reconciliation Action Plan and potential collaboration opportunities.
  • Championing Reconciliation Initiatives: Actively advocate for and support our Reconciliation Action Plan commitments across the organization, contributing to national and local project initiatives to drive meaningful outcomes for First Nations peoples.
