Catholic Education is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our People & Culture department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of salaries and wages to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and Employment Contracts
  • Resolve complex payroll queries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare and balance payroll tax, PAYG tax, and FBT, superannuation, and annual group certificates
  • Maintain accurate system records for leave, casual timesheets, and employee records
  • Provide management reports and undertake statutory reporting as required
  • Partner with the Senior Payroll Advisor to deliver value-added outcomes across the team
  • Assist Payroll Officers and conduct training of junior Payroll staff as needed
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Significant experience working in Payroll with a strong focus on compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply multiple Enterprise Agreements/Awards throughout our Payroll processes
  • Experience with Success Factors would be highly desirable but not essential
  • Ability to understand our data and apply best practice solutions to mitigate risk
  • Experience supporting the training and development of Payroll teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and a desire to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A natural aptitude for collaboration and teamwork
  • Skilled in quickly building rapport, communicating, and engaging with stakeholders
