We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trolley Collection Driver to join our Proactive Services team at Woolworths. As a Trolley Collection Driver, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys from car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle. You will be fully trained to operate our trolley collection vehicles and undergo an assessment.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
- Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
- Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
- Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
- Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
- Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
- You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
- You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates)
- Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
- Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A range of programs to help you prioritise and manage your wellbeing, including 24/7 access to the Sonder app
- Partnership with Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand to support your Financial Wellbeing
