As a Commercial Credit Specialist, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal by designing and delivering high-quality learning solutions that meet the credit capability needs of our Business Bank, Group Risk, Transformation & Operations, and Retail Bank teams.
Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement Commercial Credit programs and upskilling initiatives for bankers and credit officers at all levels. This will involve analysing organisational data – covering performance, credit, risk, people, and customer outcomes – to recommend learning interventions that enhance credit capabilities and skills.
You will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to design materials supporting the Business Bank Capability and Talent Framework. Your responsibilities will include ongoing refinement and management of training content, ensuring it meets legislative and policy changes, enhances learner experience, and improves business performance and customer outcomes.
In addition to managing the nomination, administration, and preparation of training materials for various courses, you will also coordinate with vendors for advanced commercial credit programs.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Credit Specialist with strong technical commercial lending skills, including credit scenario support, complex home lending, understanding entities, financials, and the home buying process. You will need to be adept at using engaging facilitation techniques that effectively transfer knowledge in both classroom and digital settings.
Excellent internal consulting skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities, are essential. A solid understanding of training needs analysis, methodologies, and the ability to identify key learning moments to choose the most effective learning solutions is also required.
We are looking for someone who is confident in exploring how new technologies can enhance the design and delivery of engaging learning experiences.
