About the Position
As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you will play a key role in assessing, structuring, and managing credit risks and client relationships within your delegated authority. Please note this is a maternity cover contract role for a period of 12 months initially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, structure, and manage credit risks while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Continuously monitor borrower performance and adjust credit limits accordingly.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies.
- Negotiate and prepare loan documentation outlining borrower obligations.
- Support problem-solving initiatives and assist in preparing reports related to the credit and risk portfolio.
About You
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in credit underwriting and report writing.
- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand business operations, financial performance, and long-term objectives.
- Prior experience in commercial finance and credit analysis.
