Neighbourhood Administration Officer
About the RoleThe Neighbourhood Administration Officer is a key position supporting and coordinating different teams within each neighbourhood. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, managing requests and concerns from internal and external customers, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting and coordinating different teams within each neighbourhood to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Managing requests, concerns, and inquiries from internal and external customers via phone, email, and in person.
- Rostering and scheduling support for the neighbourhood, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
- Creating correspondence and documentation as requested, including reports, memos, and other business-related documents.
- Organizing appointments, diaries, travel, and meeting/workshop preparatory arrangements to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitoring, ordering, and distributing office supplies and arranging for the maintenance/repair of office equipment to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information in financial, human resource, and other systems and databases.
- Using mainstream software, including the Microsoft Office Suite and database applications, at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Assisting senior staff with special projects as required, providing administrative support and expertise.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Previous experience in rostering/scheduling, with a proven track record of efficiency and productivity.
- Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge and experience with MS Office and Database applications, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Confidence with smartphones and digital devices, or a willingness to learn.
