
Neighbourhood Support Specialist

As a Neighbourhood Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering community connections and ensuring the seamless coordination of neighbourhood operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and being the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders;
- Coordinating requests, concerns, and inquiries with precision and care;
- Rostering and scheduling support to meet neighbourhood needs;
- Creating and managing correspondence and documentation as required;
- Efficiently organizing appointments, diaries, travel, and meeting/workshop preparations;
- Monitoring, ordering, and distributing office supplies and arranging maintenance/repairs;
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of information within financial, human resource, and other systems and databases;
- Utilizing mainstream software, including the Microsoft Office Suite and database applications, with intermediate to advanced skills;
- Assisting senior staff with special projects as needed.
Key Requirements Include:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills;
- Previous experience in rostering/scheduling – highly regarded;
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritize workload effectively;
- Good knowledge and experience with MS Office and Database applications;
- Confidence with smartphones and digital devices or willingness to learn;
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
