The role of a Business Support Officer plays a vital part in the success of Major Projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams throughout all phases of project delivery, including report preparation, document management, governance reporting and financial administration.
  • Develop and maintain administrative systems that support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You should be able to effectively communicate and gain cooperation from various stakeholders by adapting your approach to meet different needs.

Requirements
  • A post-secondary qualification in administration or project management.
  • Experience in supporting projects in local government or community services.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft software applications.
  • The ability to show initiative, innovation and creativity when approaching tasks.
