Domestic Violence Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domestic Violence Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide case management services to clients who have experienced domestic violence, at risk of homelessness and/or systemic disadvantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and coordinate longer-term case plans with clients.
  • Motivate positive changes in service users through meaningful relationships.
  • Coordinate services with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services, or equivalent. They must also demonstrate experience working with women and children escaping domestic and family violence, as well as case management experience in a domestic violence and/or homelessness support service.
