Job Description

We are seeking a skilled privacy officer to support the effective operation and development of our privacy compliance framework in Australia and New Zealand.

This role will involve advising the business on reporting, investigation, and remediation of identified privacy risks and issues, as well as supporting the business to perform impact analysis on changes to privacy-related regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting and advising the business on privacy risk management practices;
  • Maintaining and improving local processes, tools, and templates to support day-to-day privacy compliance;
  • Organising and preparing for privacy-focused steering committees and forums;

In addition to your technical skills and qualifications, you will have strong personal organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.

You will be able to build partnerships across the business and act as a trusted advisor, with a willingness and enthusiasm to take a hands-on approach where needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Working in an advisory, assurance, or audit role, in the field of privacy or regulatory compliance (at least 2 years);
  • Performing impact analysis on changes to regulations and/or company policies; and
  • A good working knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand Privacy regulation and privacy risk management practices.
