- We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to manage our production environment, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and operability.
- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting large-scale trading systems and exchange connectivity.
Additionally, you will build and maintain a devops toolkit for our production trading system, including configuration management, process management, deployment, monitoring, data collection, and analysis. This role requires leveraging firm-wide metrics to improve scalability and system performance.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot complex system problems.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to drive technology changes and manage incidents.
Finally, as a mentorship leader, you will provide guidance and training to junior technical operations SREs, helping them grow in their careers.
Requirements- Strong understanding of linux operating system, networking concepts, and rigorous approach to operations.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5+ years of experience in IT ops role such as DevOps, SRE, Linux Systems Engineering, or Network Engineering.
