We are seeking an exceptional professional to lead and grow our bridge engineering capability across Australia.
As a National Bridge Lead, you will be responsible for people leadership, raising bridge knowledge and expertise, overseeing hiring and expanding the team.
Your key responsibilities include planning, organizing, and leading project teams in the delivery, design, and documentation of project requirements; contract negotiations; project management and technical leadership; business development and strategic initiatives; monitoring output to ensure high technical standards; developing new client relationships; mentoring and developing technical staff; providing vision and leadership to team members; hiring and expanding the team; liaising with other business sectors leaders within and outside the organization; and approval of employee time and expenses.

To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant degree in civil engineering, extensive industry experience as a Bridge Engineer recognized by clients at state level, ability to lead or direct a group of technical staff, sound knowledge of Australian Standards, and a track record of delivering complex multidisciplinary projects on time and to budget.
