We're seeking a seasoned expert to lead our risk assessment team. As a senior risk management professional, you'll be responsible for delivering high-level risk assessments across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver detailed human health and ecological risk assessments for contaminated sites.
- Lead the development of Conceptual Site Models (CSMs) and exposure assessments.
- Analyze toxicological, site, and exposure data to inform health/ecological risks.
- Evaluate and develop site-specific risk-based criteria.
- Provide expert advice to clients, auditors, and regulators on site management strategies.
- Contribute to business development and proposal writing.
- Mentor and train emerging risk assessors within the team.
- Degree in Environmental Science, Toxicology, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in risk assessment roles (consulting or regulatory).
- Strong technical knowledge of NEPM, CRC CARE, environmental health, and relevant state-based frameworks.
- Experience working on complex industrial or contaminated land sites.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in mentoring others.
