About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our Mine Water Management/Dewatering Teams across various sites in the Pilbara. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals looking to contribute to our culture and world-class asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the safety culture and ensure adherence to Rio Tinto's core values at all times.
  • Install, move, and remove poly pipelines, feeder cables, diesel pumping systems, and associated plant (valving/control) for Open Cut Mining Operations.
  • Diagnose basic pumping problems within the system.
  • Install and remove bore pumps as part of a team.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures to ensure adherence at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in and out of the workshops and other areas to ensure a safe work environment and effectively manage risks.
  • Work proactively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Perform general labouring and other tasks as required by the Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Australian Driver's License (C-class) Manual.
  • High Risk Work Licenses (LF, WP, DG, CN) – (preferred).
