Lead Hepatology Clinical Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Lead Hepatology Clinical Specialist. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.

About the Role:

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with Hepatitis infection, advanced liver disease, and other hepatology-related conditions.
  • Develop and implement policy, guide practice development, and engage in education and research activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and develop quality improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrate expertise in hepatology and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and best practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in Hepatology.
  • Approved post-graduate qualification or evidence of working towards a Master's level qualification.
  • Clinical leadership skills, effective communication, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert nursing care to patients with complex hepatology conditions.
  • Leading and developing clinical services, policies, and procedures.
  • Engaging in education and research activities to improve patient outcomes and advance clinical knowledge.
