Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our technical services team at a prominent mine site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing spatial information services in a timely and safe manner, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily survey duties to the highest standard and in accordance with operational requirements.
  • Assist in completing monthly measurements and reports as per business needs.
  • Ensure all underground voids are accurately captured electronically and documented accordingly.
  • Provide reliable spatial data to support operational activities and maintain conformity to mine designs.
  • Participate in planning and executing check surveys to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Monitor and track daily development firings, pick-ups, and laser checks to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of survey information and collaborate with the technical services team to ensure seamless communication.
  • Develop and foster interdepartmental relationships to promote effective collaboration and cooperation.
  • Prepare and submit regular mining overbreak reports for horizontal development.
  • Adhere to workplace management procedures to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry standards.
