Job Title

We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to provide technical support and innovative solutions to our mining customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and experience in client service and/or sales environment.

  • Value Demonstration: Demonstrate the value and benefits of Michelin products and services to mining customers, providing technical support and product demonstrations to showcase how Michelin solutions can enhance productivity, safety, and cost-efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data related to product performance, using data-driven insights to provide actionable recommendations to clients and help them optimise their operations and achieve better results.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in a mine site, including Mine Managers, Maintenance Engineers, Workshop Managers, and Procurement teams, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mining customers, generating new leads and opportunities to sell all the portfolio of Michelin products and services to Mining customers.
  • Account Management: Assess the tyre potential of customers, collect purchase orders, ensure delivery according to the contract, and meet or exceed sales goals and targets.
  • Coordination and Planning: Coordinate with other functions and stakeholders within the organisation to ensure seamless service delivery, plan and execute activities that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and market analysis, prepare regular reports on sales performance and market conditions.
