Procurement Manager Position

This position involves managing key relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing to ensure cost savings and efficiency.

  • Over 30 years of experience in control valve distribution
  • Key distributor of major control valve brands
  • Supplying to all major industrial sectors across Australia
Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the procurement team
  • Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance for both local and international vendors
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to optimise cost savings and efficiency
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into SAP and CRM systems
  • Prepare and present regular procurement reports to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
  • Identify and implement system and process improvements to increase efficiency
Requirements
  • Ideally 4-5 years of procurement experience
  • Passionate about leading and achieving goals as a team
  • Experience using SAP
  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management or a related field is ideal but not essential
