Purchasing Specialist Role

Our organization is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for an initial short-term contract, with strong potential for extension or permanency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and coordinate purchase orders accurately within company systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes and supply goods and services.
  • Resolve invoicing discrepancies and supplier performance concerns efficiently.
  • Maintain records of procurement transactions, including purchase orders and contracts.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in purchasing, buying, sourcing, or procurement roles. They must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

A team player with good relationship-building skills is essential for this role. The candidate should be able to identify and resolve problems effectively, work collaboratively with others, and maintain accurate records.
