The Kruger State School seeks a dedicated Teacher Aide to join their team. As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a history of disengagement from schooling.
- You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering Australian curriculum with a focus on literacy and numeracy skills.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's objectives and planning.
- Establish and maintain a supportive school environment.
- Work alongside an expert adventure-based learning coordinator to deliver group programs.
- Focus on integrated learning, emphasizing transferable skills from the Human Capabilities Framework.
- Contribute to accountability processes including reporting, individual personal learning plans, and requirements for NCCD.
- Work in and as part of a multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary supportive learning team.
- Manage small class groups.
The successful applicant will possess:
- A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116)
- Experience teaching QCAA Short Courses and Applied Subjects, VET, or in a flexible learning environment.
- Skills, training, and qualifications in Trauma-Informed Practice.
