About our school
Xavier Catholic College is a co-educational K-12 College operated by Brisbane Catholic Education that commenced in 2003. In 2013, a two-session Kindergarten was established on site and is administered by Catholic Early EdCare. Our Prep to Year 12 enrolments have grown to over 1340 and continue to expand. Our mission for the College is to provide a high-quality, inclusive Catholic education where all are engaged in their learning and motivated to do their best. About the opportunity
Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to support the Principal in:
- Building the religious life of the school and fostering a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
- Growing the engagement, progress, achievement, and wellbeing of each student in the school;
- Building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability, and compliance.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus, Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience;
- Experience in teaching and leading the teaching of religious education;
- Timetable experience is an advantage.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment;
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT);
- Must be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
