ICT Security GRC Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced ICT Security GRC Specialist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. The role requires extensive experience in DevSecOps, collaborating with project teams, DCIAB and other stakeholders to gain technical Authority To Operate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Situation Risk Management: Ensure mission and support ICT systems are designed, developed, operated and maintained in accordance with ISM, DSPF, ACSI suite of publications and Defence security policies.
  • Threat and Vulnerability Identification: Identify threats and vulnerabilities arising from the design of ICT systems.
  • Security Procedure Development: Develop and maintain system SOPs and any required security procedural artefacts.
  • Cybersecurity Review and Documentation: Review and shape Defence security documentation for Program systems developed by System Integrators and vendors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with different vendors, including Defence IT teams, operational units, and senior leadership, to ensure cyber security is integrated into decision-making.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in an information technology role with exposure to information security.
  • ISM and DSPF Expertise: Extensive experience with the ISM and Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF).
  • Cybersecurity Leadership: Experience working in leading cyber security initiatives within ASD, DDG or CASG.
  • DevSecOps and Agile Methodologies: Experience working with DevSecOps and Agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
  • Process Orientation: Process orientated with good attention to detail.
  • Australian Citizenship: Australian citizenship and a minimum NV1 security clearance with ability to upgrade to NV2.
