Project Coordinator Job

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery, adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support senior project managers with project technical on-site and off-site requirements to guarantee compliant project delivery.
  • Critically review client project engineering drawings and specifications to develop project technical deliverables.
  • Develop project installation documents to ensure project construction requirements are clear for the site construction team.
  • Collaborate with clients' project engineering teams, contract engineers, and suppliers to ensure project specification compliance.
  • Deliver and manage subcontract shop drawing development, including model constructability reviews and client RFI development and response management.
  • Review and maintain project risk registers with project managers to identify construction or installation engineering risks and determine mitigation actions.
  • Monitor job progress and provide feedback to the production team, including safety observations and promoting a positive safety culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a similar role in an industrial environment.
  • Site-based experience in an industrial setting is essential.
  • Understanding of the trades and disciplines involved in site operations.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects, particularly in the field of site services.
  • Ability to interpret steel fabrication drawings and symbols; thorough understanding of design drawings.
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of industry safety requirements.
