About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Forensic Engineer to join our high-performing team in Perth. This role presents a unique opportunity to use and further develop your skills and knowledge, work with esteemed national clients, and be part of a close-knit team.

Your day will be busy and varied, including daily site inspections, investigations, and reporting on structural failures, with opportunities to contribute to innovative process improvements and system automation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conducting forensic or asset maintenance site inspections, investigating, analysing, and assessing failures involving residential, commercial, and industrial buildings and structures.
  • Preparing written reports detailing the cause of damage or failure, extent of damage, and recommended remediation for all types of buildings and structures.
  • Providing documentation detailing rectification and remedial repair solutions for construction issues and damaged structures.
  • Liaising with clients.
  • Assisting our Design teams in providing technical expertise on complex projects.
  • PARTICIPATING IN innovation activities such as process improvement and system automation.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of structural engineering design and/or forensic investigation experience.
  • Report writing experience.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering design principles and practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Civil or Structural.
  • Valid White Card.
  • Valid and current driver's license.
