Aboriginal Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aboriginal Dental Assistant to join our team as a Clinic Coordinator. This is a permanent full-time position based at the Awabakal Dental Clinic in Newcastle.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and direction to Dental Assistants and Administration Officers to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the clinic.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the Awabakal Medical team to ensure collaborative care for the community.
- Establish a culturally appropriate rapport with community members and patients to ensure trust and access to health services.
- Supervise and support the Clinic team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
