We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team at Tobwabba Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service in Forster, NSW. As a Psychologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality psychological assessments, therapies, and support to individuals and families within the community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using standardised measures to diagnose and evaluate disorders
- Develop individualised treatment plans and provide therapy tailored to client needs
- Participate in group programs and case conferences to collaborate on patient care
- Manage caseloads with clear documentation, tracking progress, and updating treatment plans
- Attend regular clinical meetings and participate in cultural awareness training
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
To be successful in this role, you will be a fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA and have Medicare registration. You will also possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work sensitively in a cross-cultural environment.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychology
- NSW driver's licence or ability to obtain one
