Senior Infrastructure Project Coordinator

CIMIC Group, a leading international construction company, is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Coordinator to join their team. This role will be based in Melbourne and will involve working on the Screening and Baggage Upgrade project at Melbourne Airport Terminal 1.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with experience in delivering projects in live environments. They will be responsible for enforcing and promoting safety culture and requirements on site, reviewing construction documentation, and assisting in the development of scopes of work for sub-contractors.
The ideal candidate will have excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with senior managers and subject matter experts. They will also have a strong eye for detail and be able to develop detailed planning information to customer relations teams.
Responsibilities- Enforce and promote safety culture and requirements on site.
- Review construction documentation and assist in the development of scopes of work for sub-contractors.
- Assist in the procurement of sub-contractor packages.
- Develop daily work task lists and create 6 week look ahead programmes.
- Monitor sub-contractor performance on site.
- Be an integral part of the quality process, including carrying out inspections.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Building services or trade equivalent with project management experience.
- Construction site experience.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Experience working in live environments.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
