Cyber Security Analyst

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you'll play a critical role in monitoring our cyber security environment across Australia and working collaboratively with our team to manage the end-to-end application security process.
This role requires a proactive and positive individual with a curious mindset who can think outside the box and improve automation. You'll be responsible for investigating and responding to security queries and escalations, threat modelling, and working closely with our Tech teams to identify and track system vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and respond to security queries and escalations from internal and external sources.
- Threat modelling, identifying current and emerging technology issues.
- Work closely with Tech teams to ensure system vulnerabilities and weaknesses are identified and tracked to closure.
- Manage and articulate tasks independently with minor supervision.
- Manage Security Monitoring related backlogs and priorities effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience with security technologies, vulnerability, and compliance scanning tools.
- Proven experience with Server Operating Systems (Windows / Linux) and network technologies.
- Experience in security information and event management systems, password, and privileged access management systems.
- Knowledge of scripting languages with minimum 2-3 years IT security experience.
