About the Role

ING is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our security team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing our cyber security environment to identify and mitigate potential threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and respond to security queries and escalations from internal and external sources.
  • Conduct threat modeling and identify current and emerging technology issues, including security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Work closely with Tech teams to ensure system vulnerabilities and weaknesses are identified and tracked to closure.
  • Manage and articulate tasks independently with minor supervision.
  • Manage Security Monitoring related backlogs and priorities effectively according to department/organization goals.
Requirements
  • Experience with security technologies, vulnerability, and compliance scanning tools.
  • Proven experience with Server Operating Systems (Windows / Linux) and network technologies (switches, firewall, proxy servers).
  • Experience in security information and event management systems, password, and privileged access management systems.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages with minimum 2-3 years IT security experience.
