Job Overview

The Assistant Director will play a pivotal role in supporting the Centre Director with day-to-day operations.

They will be responsible for fostering positive relationships, developing high-quality educational programs, and driving quality improvement initiatives within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Building: Create strong, genuine relationships with team members, children, and their families.
  • Program Development: Design and deliver high standards of educational programs that meet the needs of our students.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster open communication, actively listen to feedback, and work collaboratively with the team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Quality Improvement: Lead and support teams to understand and follow policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Initiative and Motivation: Demonstrate high levels of initiative and motivation, being proactive and flexible with a mature approach.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Current ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates
  • Current Child Protection Training
