Early Childhood Educator Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator Leader to join our team.

As an Early Childhood Educator Leader, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our children, providing high-quality care and education that fosters growth, exploration, and discovery.

About Your New Role

In this key leadership position, you will work collaboratively with our team to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of our children. You will:

  • Implement Journey's child-safe policy and code of conduct in your daily practice
  • Develop and review daily routines to meet children's evolving needs, ensuring opportunities for interaction and learning
  • Design high-quality programs tailored to each child's interests and abilities
  • Conduct regular observations, gathering information to inform program design and support child-led learning
  • Build trusting relationships with families through open, honest, and respectful communication
Key Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Significant experience working with children up to six years old, guiding and supporting their development
  • A deep understanding of and commitment to Journey's values and mission
  • An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent) and current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates
  • Full rights to work in Australia
