About the role: As an Agronomist, you will join a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to forming strong relationships with growers and customers in a diverse agricultural region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service growers across this diverse agricultural area of New South Wales and surrounding regions.
  • Engage and work alongside a team servicing cutting-edge farmers.
  • Responsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises.
  • Provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region together with product sales both in-store and on-farm.
  • Keep relevant with latest plant production practices together with running and coordinating field days and farmer meetings with a focus on broadacre winter cropping.

Requirements:

  • Full working rights within Australia.
  • Previous experience in an agronomy position ideally within a commercial environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application ideally with experience in winter cereal crops.
  • History of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed, and chemical products.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
