We are seeking an experienced psychiatrist to join our supportive teams in Cairns, providing high-quality clinical care and leadership skills.
The ideal candidate will have current registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA and Fellow with Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
Job Details- Locum Consultant Psychiatrist
- ASAP start dates for various positions: Cairns Inpatient, Cairns Adult Community, and Remote East
- Competitive daily rate
- Travel and accommodation included
- Provide relief as required across adult community-based teams within the Mental Health Service
- Offer telephone-based intake, acute crisis support, rehabilitation, perinatal, and continuing community management of people with serious mental illness
- Support teams in Cairns, including registrar, RMO, and interns
- Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
- Fellow with Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
- High level of quality clinical care and demonstrated professionalism and leadership skills
- Fly-in, Fly-out position to the Torres and Cape serving remote communities
- Minimum 6 week booking
