Job Opportunity

The role of Senior Leader is a high-profile position responsible for motivating Support Workers and promoting a risk management culture in a supportive living environment for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide and support clients and mentor Support Workers, emphasizing the value of consistency and professional boundaries.
  • Promote a person-centered approach, giving our clients choice and control over their lives.
  • Oversee the effective management and daily operations of residential services.
  • Foster a positive work environment and maintain an open-door policy where staff and clients feel valued and safe.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring clients have a voice and actively supporting their independence, hobbies, and interests.
  • Address performance management and conflict resolution as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Qualification (minimum Cert 4 equivalent) in the Social Services or relevant field.
  • Knowledge of relevant disability legislation and standards e.g. NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, the National Standards for Disability Services.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification | NDISWC and WWCC.
