At Medibank, we're seeking a Clinical Education and Development Leader to join our team in Adelaide. This is a permanent role with flexible work arrangements.

About the Role

This newly created position will play a vital part in building towards becoming Australia's most prominent Hospital In the Home service provider. As a Clinical Education and Development Leader, you'll take accountability for the leadership, development, and maintenance of clinical competency frameworks and clinical portfolios within Home Health.

You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to embed these frameworks and ensure alignment to the organisation's needs and accreditation requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing relationships and processes to design and build clinical placement capacity and develop a clinical graduate program.
  • Establishing relationships with academic partners to build a trusted relationship and pursuing training and research opportunities.
  • Promoting and participating in quality improvement activities and organisational accreditation processes.
  • Taking on a leadership role in developing, brokering, and providing hands-on educational support and clinical teaching to nursing and care staff within each clinical portfolio.

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced AHPRA Registered Nurse who has a strong clinical education and continuous quality improvement mindset. You'll need to have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in clinical education and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with customers, referrers, consumers, and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Strong IT skills and literacy.
  • Experience developing education and training frameworks/programs for a geographically diverse workforce will be highly regarded.
