Construction Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Construction Operations Manager. This position involves overseeing the delivery of construction projects in Queensland with an emphasis on safety and quality.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading projects as deputy to the program management team, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through open communication and trust.
- Mentoring and developing team members by building their skills and capability within the business.
- Supporting design reviews, constructability assessments, and claims/assessments to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Contributing to business growth through work-winning initiatives and program development, driving innovation and excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with RPEQ qualification or eligibility to obtain. They should also have at least 15 years' experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects, preferably with exposure to government agencies.
A strong generalist mindset, combined with exposure to multiple engineering disciplines, is essential for this role. Leadership aspirations and the ability to support program delivery across complex projects are also highly valued.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with RPEQ qualification or eligibility to obtain.
- At least 15 years' experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects, preferably with exposure to government agencies such as VicRoads/DTP.
- Strong project leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills, with a generalist mindset and exposure to multiple engineering disciplines.
- Leadership aspirations and ability to support program delivery across complex projects, with a passion for driving business growth and excellence.
